AZ BigCats Dominate Against El Paso Sharks at Dance in the Desert
In a powerful performance from start to finish, the AZ BigCats roared through their 10U matchup, shutting out the Sharks 31–0 in a game filled with big plays and strong defense.
The BigCats wasted no time. In the opening quarter, #7 punched in the first touchdown of the game. The extra point attempt went sideways with a bad snap and a fumble, but the QB managed to recover it — just not in time to convert.
Quarter two brought the fireworks. #29 caught a deep pass and took it to the house for a 50-yard touchdown, stretching the BigCats' lead. Moments later, #7 struck again, finding the end zone for his second TD of the day. Both extra point tries came up short, but the BigCats took a commanding lead into the break.
After a quiet third, the BigCats sealed the deal in the fourth. #32 powered in another touchdown, and this time #6 capped it off with a strong run for the extra point, putting the game firmly out of reach.
Still, the Sharks didn’t quit. On the final play of the game, they launched a deep ball that looked like it might break the shutout — but BigCats #4 came up with a clutch interception in the end zone, closing the door for good.
