Anthem Jaguars vs. Elite Stars – May 17, 2025
This game was a total rollercoaster, with both teams going all out in a back-and-forth fight that came down to the wire! In the first quarter, the Jaguars got it started when #55 powered into the end zone for the opening touchdown, but the extra point didn’t go through. Then their defense stepped up big with #98 scooping up a fumble and flipping the momentum their way. The second quarter brought the fireworks! The Stars fired back when #1 made an incredible 60-yard catch and sprinted all the way for a touchdown! The extra point missed as #25 and #20 couldn’t connect, but the Stars were on the board. Not to be outdone, the Jaguars answered with #7 scoring a touchdown and running in the extra point himself—boom! The game stayed tight into the fourth quarter, where things went totally crazy. #1 from the Stars shook off three defenders and sprinted 30 yards for another touchdown! The extra point run was stopped, but the Stars were heating up. Then #00 jumped on a loose ball for the Stars to keep the drive alive. #17 came through with a touchdown, but the extra point didn’t land. The Jaguars bounced back with #3 scoring a touchdown and #55 running in the extra point to tie things up! Right after that, #17 from the Stars hit the gas again for another touchdown and #1 cashed in the extra point run. But wait—#55 from the Jaguars wasn’t done! He powered through for another touchdown, though the extra point fell short. With seconds ticking down, the Stars needed a miracle, and they got one. #1 came up HUGE with a pick-six, reading the pass, grabbing the interception, and running it back for the winning touchdown! The whole sideline went wild. The Elite Stars took the championship in one of the wildest finishes of the day!
