AZ Champs Shine Bright in Dance In the Desert Title Match
Under the hot desert sun, the AZ Champs lit up the field with a complete team performance, shutting out 915 Elite and storming their way to the 13U championship with a final score of 28–0.
In the first quarter, the Champs set the tone early with a touchdown and a cleanly executed 2-point kick — a rare weapon in youth ball that gave them a quick 8–0 edge. Their sideline was buzzing, and the energy never dipped.
Second quarter, same story. Another smooth drive, another TD, and once again their special teams came through with another 2-point kick, pushing the lead to 16–0 before the break.
The third quarter belonged to the ground game and the defense. The Champs broke loose for a 45-yard touchdown run, cutting through defenders and leaving dust behind. Though the extra point kick missed, the defense answered right back — coming up with a momentum-seizing interception to crush any 915 hopes of a rally.
By the fourth, it was all about closing strong. The Champs found the end zone one last time and nailed their third 2-point kick of the day, sealing the deal at 28–0.
