Bears Roll Past Devilcats

The Chandler Bears lit up the scoreboard, powering past the AZ Devilcats in a dominant 52–0 victory. From the opening drive, the Bears showed control on both sides of the ball and never let up.

The Bears struck early in the first quarter, as #3 found the end zone for the game’s opening touchdown. #14 drilled the kick to give the Bears a quick lead. The Devilcats looked to respond, but a costly intentional grounding penalty on #0stalled their momentum.

In the second quarter, #13 broke through for another Bears touchdown, though the extra point fell short. The Bears quickly got the ball back, and #4 punched in another score, followed by a clean kick from #14 to extend the lead before halftime.

The momentum only grew in the third quarter. #0 added to the tally with a touchdown, and #14 stayed solid on special teams. Shortly after, #21 recovered a fumble to give the Bears prime field position. Capitalizing on the turnover, #13 found the end zone again, and #14 nailed another kick.

In the final quarter, #14 scored another touchdown but missed the first kick. A roughing-the-center penalty gave the Bears the option to rekick, and they took advantage—#14 split the uprights on the second try. To close things out, #6 added the final touchdown of the night, sealing the 52–0 shutout win.
