Jr Padres Dominate in Statement Win Over Outcast
The Jr Padres came out firing on all cylinders and never looked back in their May 3rd showdown against Outcast, putting together a complete team effort to secure a big-time win.
Things got rolling fast in the first quarter with Jr Padres #7 finding the end zone for the game’s first touchdown. #12 punched in the extra point run to make it 8-0. Outcast answered right back with a score of their own — #7 broke loose for a touchdown, and #27 followed it up with a smooth 1-point run to tie it up.
But the second quarter belonged completely to the Jr Padres.
#10 powered in a TD, followed by #7 converting the point. The defense stepped up too — #11 snagged an interception, then turned around and scored a touchdown of his own, with #10 adding the point after. Before the half, #7 added another touchdown, although the 2-point try fell short after #12’s pass didn’t connect. Just before the break, #29 picked off another pass, shutting down any hope for an Outcast answer.
In the third quarter, the Jr Padres kept rolling. #10 broke free for a 35-yard touchdown, though the extra point didn’t stick after a fumble on the try by #7. The defense struck again — #12 came up with the team’s third interception of the game, showing just how locked-in that unit was.
Outcast fought hard to the end and managed to break through in the fourth, with #44 punching in a touchdown, but the extra point was no good after #27’s run got stuffed.
From top to bottom, the Jr Padres looked sharp — explosive offense, lockdown defense, and a whole lot of hustle. A huge win with playmakers all over the field.
