Southwest Stampede eventually found the end zone again. No. 9 scored on a 20-yard touchdown reception, and No. 13 converted another kick to extend the lead to 14-0.
The third quarter featured the game's lone turnover. Stampede No. 50 ran for 10 yards before losing the football on a fumble. Wolfpack No. 42 recovered it to give possession back to Wolfpack.
Southwest Stampede later drove the ball down toward the end zone, but neither team added points during the third quarter as several flags continued to interrupt the action.
Stampede's defense helped preserve the shutout in the fourth quarter. No. 97 recorded a sack, and No. 50 added another sack as the Wolfpack remained off the scoreboard.
With neither team scoring in the second half, Southwest Stampede's two second-quarter touchdowns proved to be the difference in the 14-0 victory.
