Wolfpack Shut Out Wardogs 22-0 Behind Strong Defensive Performance

Wolfpack opened the game with an immediate spark, taking the opening kickoff all the way to the end zone. No. 25 received the kick and returned it 80 yards for a touchdown to give Wolfpack an early lead.

Wolfpack continued its fast start later in the first quarter. No. 1 broke free for a 25-yard rushing touchdown, giving Wolfpack its second touchdown of the opening quarter.

Wolfpack added another touchdown in the second quarter when No. 22 found the end zone. Neither team added another touchdown before halftime, leaving Wolfpack firmly in control heading into the break.

Wardogs produced their biggest defensive play of the game during the third quarter when No. 21 recorded an interception. The turnover did not lead to points, however, and the third quarter ended without either team scoring.

Wolfpack added its final touchdown in the fourth quarter. No. 25 broke loose for a 35-yard touchdown, giving him his second trip to the end zone after his 80-yard kickoff return in the opening quarter.

Wolfpack's defense completed the shutout from there, holding Wardogs scoreless throughout all four quarters to secure a 22-0 victory.
