Stacked edge out West Coast Scout
Stacked put together a sharp and steady performance, rolling past West Coast Scout by a final score of 7–1.
Right-hander Aiden Heese set the tone on the mound, tossing 5.2 innings of dominant baseball while striking out 10 and allowing just one earned run on five hits. Heese attacked the zone from the start, working ahead in counts and limiting hard contact with a steady mix of fastballs and off-speed pitches. Isaac Lulich came in to close things out, recording the final out via strikeout and preserving a game that was never in serious doubt.
Offensively, Stacked wasted no time getting on the board. In the bottom of the first, Cole Bianchi led off with a single, advanced on a wild pitch, and eventually scored the opening run. Rowen Gale followed with a single of his own, part of a two-hit afternoon, and Stacked had early momentum that carried through much of the game.
After a quiet third inning, the Stacked bats came alive again in the fourth. Bianchi singled to lead off, and Carter Gomes delivered the big blow with a two-run double that pushed the lead to 4–0. Gomes would finish with three RBIs on the day, providing much of the punch in the middle of the order.
West Coast managed to scratch across a run in the fifth, stringing together a single and a double to get on the board, but it would be their only breakthrough. Heese regrouped and finished the inning with back-to-back strikeouts to squash the rally.
Stacked added two more runs in the sixth to put the game out of reach. Key contributions came throughout the lineup, with Bobby Ramirez Jr. and Enzo Recalde each knocking in a run. Bianchi reached base three times and scored twice, while the offense worked deep into counts and made the most of six walks and four hit batters.
Defensively, Stacked was flawless. Their infield played clean behind Heese, and the outfield tracked down everything hit in the air. In contrast, West Coast struggled to get momentum going, committing two errors and allowing multiple free bases that helped fuel the Stacked attack.
