PHX Fire Stay Hot Against West Valley Flight
The PHX Fire kept their winning spark alive with a solid 29–15 road win over the West Valley Flight in 2nd/3rd grade action.
The Fire wasted no time getting on the board, pushing the ball in transition and knocking down early shots to grab control. Their defense swarmed the Flight ball-handlers, forcing turnovers that led to easy fast-break buckets.
West Valley Flight fought back with hustle, finding a few clean looks at the rim and showing off some slick passing to stay within reach. But every time the Flight started to build momentum, the Fire answered with a big rebound or a clutch basket.
By the second half, PHX kept the pace high and wore the Flight down with quick dribbles, strong finishes, and steady teamwork. The Flight never quit — battling for every loose ball and crashing the boards — but the Fire’s speed and energy proved too much.
When the horn sounded, it was the Fire 29, Flight 15 — another fiery win that showed their young squad is tough to cool down.
