Coyotes Run Off Jaguars

Campo Verde wasted no time taking command, storming out of the gate and turning a fast start into a 69–39 freshmen boys basketball win over Canyon View.

The Coyotes came out flying from the opening tip. Defensive pressure created turnovers, the transition game started clicking, and before Canyon View could settle in, Campo Verde had already built a 26–7 lead after the first quarter.

Canyon View answered with better rhythm in the second, attacking the basket and stacking together stronger possessions, but Campo Verde stayed sharp and kept punching back. The Coyotes continued to score in quick bursts and carried a 40–16 advantage into halftime.

The third quarter brought more fight from the Jaguars, who kept working in the half court and found ways to keep the offense moving, but Campo Verde matched nearly every push. By the end of the frame, the Coyotes had stretched the lead to 52–29.

Canyon View kept battling through the fourth and never backed down, but Campo Verde stayed steady, controlled the tempo, and finished off a strong road performance with a 69–39 win. The early surge gave the Coyotes all the separation they needed, while the Jaguars kept competing until the final buzzer.
