Tigers Advance Past Jaguars

The Millennium Tigers punched their ticket to the championship with a strong semifinal showing, pulling away from the Canyon View Jaguars for a 48–36 win behind a fast start and steady scoring across all four quarters.

Millennium came out sharp from the opening tip, setting the tone with aggressive defense and efficient offense. The Tigers built momentum early and closed the first quarter with a 16–8 lead, forcing Canyon View to chase the game right away.

The Jaguars answered with better ball movement and improved shot selection in the second quarter, finding ways to cut into the deficit during stretches of the half. Still, Millennium stayed composed and responded to every push, taking a 22–19 lead into halftime.

In the third quarter, the Tigers turned the pressure up again. Millennium found its rhythm offensively and stretched the lead with a key scoring run, while Canyon View kept battling but could not trim the gap enough. By the end of the quarter, the Tigers were in front 34–24.

Canyon View put together one of its better stretches in the final frame and fought to stay within reach, but Millennium never let the game slip. Matching the Jaguars down the stretch, the Tigers closed out the semifinal victory 48–36 and moved on to the championship game.
