Meet Overview
The Chandler Rotary Track Meet delivered a packed day of competition with speed on the straightaways, grit in the distance races, strong relay chemistry, and major marks in the field events. From the standard races to the elite divisions, the meet produced standout performances on both the boys and girls sides.

Boys Division Article
The boys events delivered speed right out of the gate at the Chandler Rotary Track Meet. Elijah Soanes of Higley captured the 100 meters title in 10.84, while Mark Smith of Williams Field elevated the elite race with a blazing 10.60. In the 200 meters, Jhett Kinghorn of La Cueva claimed the standard race in 21.60, and Amare Holley of Red Mountain edged the elite field at 21.48.
As the meet rolled into the middle distances, the pace stayed sharp. Elijah England of Navajo Prep took the 3200 meters in 9:31.19 after also winning the 800 meters, while Jeremy Smith of ALA - Queen Creek won the 1600 in 4:25.95. In elite distance races, Maddox Bonilla of Casteel dominated the 800 meters elite in 1:52.38, Zarian Rodriguez of Hamilton won the 1600 elite in 4:12.21, and Symond Martin of Page powered through the 3200 elite in 9:06.31.
Over the hurdles, Cadle Collins of Canyon View won the 110 hurdles while Lynnox Newton of Poly (Long Beach) took the elite division in 14.06. Tyree McSwain of Williams Field led the 300 hurdles, and Matthew Heitz of Red Mountain won the elite race. The relays stayed electric too, with Higley winning the 4x100, Poly (Long Beach) taking both the 4x100 elite and 4x400 elite, Casteel winning the 4x800, Liberty (NV) taking the SMR elite, and Loyola controlling the DMR elite.
In the field events, the boys side kept delivering. Cooper Cecil of Hope Christian won shot put, while Drew Harisay of Etiwanda launched the elite winning throw at 60-05.00. Malachi Joyner of Williams Field led elite discus, Christopher Dillman of Arizona College Prep won elite javelin, and Ryder Hall of Snowflake stood out with elite wins in both high jump and long jump. Kadyn Hysong of Shadow Mountain cleared 17-01.00 to win elite pole vault, and Ajani Leggett of Sunnyslope topped the elite triple jump field at 48-00.00.
Girls Division Article
The girls side of the Chandler Rotary Track Meet brought plenty of speed and plenty of star power. Terra Brubaker of Longmont won the 100 meters, but Ava Davis of Millennium stole the elite spotlight by taking the 100 elite in 11.80 and the 200 elite in 24.02. Mariah Watson of Liberty (NV) won the standard 200, while Claire DeFoy of Hope Christian captured the 400 meters and Aulani Gleason of Mesquite led the elite 400 in 54.70.
Distance events brought strong finishes across the board. Isabelle Franks of Faith Lutheran won the 800 meters, while Nicole Ripperdan of Queen Creek controlled the elite 800 in 2:10.64. Elaina Cisneros of Taos Municipal won both the standard 1600 and 3200, and Taylor Drewry of Basha and Anna Hastings of Albuquerque Academy took the elite 1600 and 3200 titles. In the hurdles, Rechol Chuol of Desert Edge claimed the 100 hurdles, Rebekah-Jhade Garret of North Canyon took the elite 100 hurdles in 13.52, Sydney Powell of Basha won the 300 hurdles, and Imani Galera-Young of Chandler led the elite race in 42.67.
The relay events added another burst of energy to the day. Liberty (NV) won the 4x100 relay, Chandler took the 4x100 elite, El Paso Eastlake won the 4x400, Hamilton controlled the 4x400 elite, Canyon View won the 4x800, Windsor led the SMR elite, and Faith Lutheran finished on top in the DMR elite. The girls field events were just as loaded, with Suzanne Schmit of Mountain Ridge winning both standard shot put and discus, while Tatum Lee of Desert Vista swept the elite shot put and elite discus titles.
Elsewhere in the field, Brooke Zuluaga of Seton Catholic won elite javelin, Taliyah Word of Hamilton and Christina Keller of Scottsdale Christian took the high jump titles, Lilly Shiflet of Liberty and Kyra Hogarth of Chandler won pole vault, Gianna Gulley of El Paso Andress and Jaiden Ware of Chandler topped the long jump runway, and Larissa Gutierrez of Maricopa and Rai'onna Carter of Liberty (NV) won the triple jump divisions. It was a strong all-around showing from the girls field, packed with depth and big marks from start to finish.
