Weber State Grinds Out Win Over Bowling Green

The Wildcats of Weber State clawed their way to a gritty 73–70 win over Bowling Green in a back-and-forth showdown that came down to the final possession. After trailing by three at the half, Weber outscored the Falcons 33–27 in the second to seal it.

Blaise Threatt was everywhere for the Wildcats, pouring in 19 points, grabbing 7 boards, and swiping 5 steals—including two key ones that helped flip the momentum.

Miguel Tomley added a clutch 16 points with four triples, and Dyson Koehler chipped in 11 points and 7 rebounds, doing the dirty work down low.

Bowling Green leaned on Derrick Butler, who led the Falcons with 16 points, while Javontae Campbell and Marcus Johnson combined for 21. Campbell also added 5 free throws and a couple assists in a solid effort.

Despite shooting just 28% from deep, Weber made their mark inside, outscoring BGSU 38–32 in the paint and racking up 16 points off turnovers. The Wildcats also held up defensively, forcing 14 Falcon turnovers and turning several of those into fast-break chances.
