Deer Valley Skyhawks used steady scoring and a strong finish to earn a 53–34 win over the Prescott Badgers. The Skyhawks edged ahead early with a 9–7 first quarter, then stretched the lead to 28–16 by halftime by staying patient and taking good shots. The margin continued to grow in the third as Deer Valley pushed ahead 38–24, setting up a big closing stretch where the Skyhawks poured in 15 fourth-quarter points to seal the win.
