Paradise Valley delivered a composed and efficient road performance Tuesday night, earning a 3–0 victory over Desert Edge behind disciplined defending and timely scoring in both halves.
After a tightly contested opening stretch, Paradise Valley broke through midway into the first half. Senior Stefan Votruba opened the scoring with a clean strike at 12:20 to give the Panthers a 1–0 advantage heading into halftime. Desert Edge stayed compact defensively and limited further damage before the break.
The second half belonged to Paradise Valley. D. Velasquez Torres extended the lead with a header at 34:43, creating separation and forcing Desert Edge to chase the match. Continued pressure paid off again when A. Contreras found the net at 14:35, sealing the result.
With balanced scoring and a well-organized back line, Paradise Valley controlled the tempo after halftime and closed out a complete shutout. Desert Edge battled throughout but was unable to break through against the Panthers’ disciplined defensive effort.
