The West Point Dragons and Desert Edge Scorpions battled through a wild back-and-forth varsity softball game that turned into an offensive showdown, with West Point eventually pulling out a dramatic 9–7 extra-inning victory.
Desert Edge struck first and came out swinging. The Scorpions plated two runs in the opening inning and added another in the second to take early control. A.
