Hamilton Sweeps Mountain View in Three Sets

Hamilton protected its home court Tuesday night, defeating Mountain View 3-0 in a girls varsity volleyball matchup at Hamilton High School.

The Huskies established the early advantage in the opening set. Mountain View remained competitive, but Hamilton created enough separation to secure a 25-19 victory and take a 1-0 lead in the match.

Hamilton strengthened its position in the second set. The Huskies held Mountain View to its lowest point total of the night, earning a 25-17 victory to move within one set of completing the sweep.

Mountain View responded with its strongest scoring performance in the third set and pushed Hamilton to the highest opposing total the Huskies allowed during the match. Hamilton remained in control down the stretch, however, closing out the set 25-20.

The third-set victory completed Hamilton's straight-set sweep, 25-19, 25-17 and 25-20, giving the Huskies a 3-0 home victory over Mountain View.
