Verrado JV came out absolutely fired up on April 7th, putting on a show at home and straight-up dominating Buckeye with a 10-0 win in just four innings! This wasn’t just a win—it was a statement. From the first pitch, the Vipers were in attack mode, racking up 3 runs in the 1st inning and never letting off the gas. Freshman K. Koshinski and freshman Easton Santos went OFF, both going 2-for-2 at the plate with 2 runs and 2 RBIs each. Easton even launched a triple that had the dugout going wild. Kyan Sims added some serious power with a double and 2 RBIs of his own. The whole lineup was clicking—Trujillo, Maddox, Carter, Marco—everyone found a way to get on base, score, or move runners. And defensively? FLAMES. The Vipers were flawless in the field, committing zero errors while shutting down Buckeye completely. On the mound, Jacob Torres was on another level—he threw 3 perfect innings, allowing zero hits, zero walks, and racking up 5 Ks. Then Sims stepped in and picked up right where Jacob left off, closing the door with 3 more strikeouts and just one walk. The craziest part? Buckeye didn’t record a single hit.
