Fall Football 2025

There are certain players who don’t just play the game — they change it. This week, Mike Jones was that player. Under the lights on October 18, 2025, the Harbor Area Raiders 12U squad took on the Patriots in what was expected to be a hard-fought matchup. But from the opening whistle, Mike made it clear that the game belonged to him. The Raiders came out on top with a 33–12 statement win, improving their record to a flawless 6–0.
Lined up as a Wide Receiver, Defensive Back, and Punter, Mike proved why he’s considered one of the most explosive players in California. He turned defense into offense with a pick-six, shifting the entire energy of the game. Minutes later, he took a kick return all the way to the house, putting the Patriots on their heels and firing up the entire Harbor sideline.
But it wasn’t just the highlights — it was how he made it happen. Mike’s incredible speed, sharp vision, and elite ball skills forced the Patriots to adjust their entire game plan around him. Every time they thought they had him contained, he broke loose again. Whether it was making defenders miss or reading plays before they developed, Mike was simply on another level.
Leadership isn’t just about wearing a captain’s title — it’s about setting the tone when the team needs it most. And Mike did exactly that. When the game was close, he made plays. When the team needed a spark, he created momentum. When everyone else was catching their breath, he was already lining up for the next big moment. His consistent growth and drive to be the best is a major reason why the Raiders have remained unbeaten this season.
Mike Jones isn’t just a standout on his team — he’s becoming a name to know across the state. Week after week, he continues to raise the bar, reminding everyone why he’s considered the top 12U wide receiver in California.
Keep grinding, Mike. Your impact doesn’t just show up on the scoreboard — it shows up in how your teammates play, how your opponents prepare, and how the entire football community is starting to take notice. Big-time players make big-time plays, and this week, you left no doubt.
