North Canyon vs Buckeye Union delivered a tight, gritty battle where every inning felt like it carried a little extra weight. Buckeye Union came out swinging early and never fully let go, holding off North Canyon for a 3–2 win in a game that stayed within reach until the final out.

Buckeye wasted no time setting the tone, plating two runs in the opening inning to jump ahead 2–0 and put early pressure on North Canyon. That fast start forced North Canyon to respond, and the Rattlers did just that in the second inning, answering back with two runs of their own to even things up at 2–2.

At the plate, Maddox Villegas led the charge for Buckeye, going 3-for-4 with an RBI while also making noise on the bases with three stolen bags. Adrian Fierro and Mayco Morales each added doubles to keep the lineup moving. For North Canyon, Lyric Sanders stayed perfect at the plate with two hits and an RBI, while Ethan Nicloy added two hits of his own and Johnny Huerta chipped in with an RBI double.
