Recap

Rattlers Roll Past Patriots

The North Canyon Rattlers unleashed a relentless offensive attack and overwhelmed the Independence Patriots, cruising to a 30–3 victory behind a massive third inning and a lineup that stayed hot from top to bottom.

North Canyon wasted no time getting on the board, pushing across a run in the first inning before adding another in the second to take early control. The game quickly turned into a runaway in the third when the Rattlers exploded for 25 runs, sending waves of hitters to the plate and piling up hits across the lineup. By the time the inning ended, North Canyon had firmly seized momentum and left little doubt about the outcome.

Several Rattlers fueled the offensive surge. Y. Uerra delivered a strong performance at the plate, finishing with two hits, four runs scored, and two RBIs while also drawing two walks. B. Alexander and A. Miranda each chipped in two hits and two RBIs while scoring three runs apiece, keeping constant pressure on the Patriots defense. L. Sanders added three RBIs on a pair of hits, while J. Huerta produced one of the biggest swings of the game with a triple and three RBIs to help stretch the lead.

The lineup depth continued to shine as E. Nicloy blasted a home run and drove in three runs despite just one official at-bat, while M. Hougland crossed the plate four times and added an RBI. E. Villarreal also made his presence felt, collecting two hits and driving in four runs. On the bases, the Rattlers stayed aggressive with stolen bases from J. Chavez, Y. Uerra, J. Huerta, and E. Villarreal.

On the mound, North Canyon controlled the game with a combination of Y. Uerra and G. Pugliese. Uerra worked an inning with two strikeouts, while Pugliese followed with three scoreless innings and three strikeouts, keeping Independence off the scoreboard until the fourth. The Patriots managed to push across three runs late, but the early offensive avalanche from North Canyon had already put the game well out of reach.

With 16 hits and constant traffic on the bases, the Rattlers turned the game into an offensive showcase and secured a dominant win over Independence.
