La Joya Unleashes Offensive Storm Against North Canyon

What started as a competitive back-and-forth quickly turned into an offensive storm, as La Joya Community pulled away in a big way to defeat North Canyon 28–10 in a varsity matchup on March 28.

The early innings felt like a track meet on dirt. North Canyon came out swinging, putting up a strong 7-run second inning to answer La Joya’s early push and keep things tight. Through two innings, both teams were trading punches, and it looked like this one might come down to who had the last swing.

Then the game flipped. La Joya erupted in the third and fourth innings, unloading for 21 combined runs and completely shifting the momentum.
