Northwest Christian Rolls Past North Canyon

Northwest Christian wasted no time taking control and never looked back, putting together a dominant 11–0 victory over North Canyon in varsity baseball action.

The tone was set early. Northwest Christian struck first in the opening inning and kept stacking pressure, adding another run in the second before breaking the game wide open in the third.

That third inning became the turning point. Northwest Christian erupted for eight runs, stringing together disciplined at-bats, taking advantage of defensive miscues, and refusing to let momentum slip. The lineup stayed relentless from top to bottom, forcing North Canyon into a tough spot they couldn’t recover from.

C. Morgan led the charge with a four-RBI performance, including a double that helped fuel the offensive surge. F. Simms added two RBIs, while A. Corby and J. McClain contributed key production to keep the scoring rolling.

On the mound, D. Crawford delivered a complete performance, throwing five shutout innings while allowing just four hits and striking out six. He controlled the tempo all game, never allowing North Canyon to find rhythm at the plate.

North Canyon managed hits from B. Chavez, B. Alexander, M. Lopez, and A. Miranda, but couldn’t piece together sustained offense. Defensive struggles added to the challenge, extending innings and opening the door for Northwest Christian’s big third inning.

From the first pitch to the final out, this one belonged to Northwest Christian.
