Youngker Sets the Tone Early, Controls the Night

Youngker came out swinging and never let the game drift. A three-run first inning flipped the script immediately, putting North Canyon on their heels before they could settle in.

From there, Youngker controlled the rhythm. J. Garcia led the charge with a double, a home run, and three RBIs, setting the tone for an offense that kept stacking pressure inning after inning. I. Valencia, M. Grado, C. Davis, and R. Guardado all contributed at the plate, keeping the lineup alive and moving.

North Canyon found a spark in the fourth when E. Villarreal launched a solo shot, briefly shifting the energy and giving the home side life.

But Youngker didn’t blink. The pitching staff locked in, with M. Carroll taking over and shutting things down across four strong innings, allowing just one run and sealing control of the game.

North Canyon finished with six hits but couldn’t capitalize in key moments, leaving opportunities stranded as Youngker added one more late run to close it out.
