Panthers Pounce Past Dragons

Paradise Honors wasted zero time turning this one into a storm, exploding out of the gate and overwhelming West Point in an 11–2 varsity softball win. From the very first inning, the Panthers came out swinging, stacking runs early and never looking back.

The opening frame set the tone in a big way. Paradise Honors poured in six runs right away, stringing together hits, working counts, and forcing the Dragons onto their heels before they could settle in. The Panthers doubled down in the second inning, adding five more runs to build an 11–0 cushion.

The offense came from all over the lineup. V. Colby led the charge with a perfect 2-for-2 performance, driving in three runs and blasting two doubles. O. Jimenez Facio matched that effort by going 2-for-2 with an RBI, while A. Rodriguez added a home run and two RBIs. M. Freeman also drove in three runs to help stretch the lead beyond reach.

Paradise Honors stayed sharp defensively, finishing with a clean game in the field and zero errors. In the circle, O. Jimenez Facio delivered a strong outing, working three innings, allowing just one run, and striking out eight. Lexi Jordan handled the early work before the Panthers settled in and locked things down.

To their credit, West Point found a little life late. L. Mendez collected two hits and scored twice, while A. Chavez and E. De La Riva each turned in multi-hit performances. But the early hole was simply too deep to escape.

In the end, this game belonged to Paradise Honors from the jump. Early offense, clean defense, and strong pitching came together in a complete performance that sent a clear message.
