The U10A Carter division belonged to the Jr. Ducks, who powered their way through the Presidents Day Invitational and finished on top with a perfect 5-0 record. They capped off that run with a 4-2 championship win over Park City Ice Miners in a game that showed just how dangerous their offense could be. The Ducks jumped out fast, scoring three times in the first period and never fully let Park City settle in. Bodhi Miller scored twice, including the game-winner on the power play, while Oliver Henry added two goals of his own. Fintan Woodford was all over the attack with three assists, helping drive a first-period burst that gave the Ducks control. Park City battled back with power-play goals from Hunter Francis and Wes Goldberg, but the Ducks’ pressure never eased. They outshot the Ice Miners 31-11 and got a strong full-game effort in net from Wyatt Shaffer. Park City earned its spot in the title game with a strong tournament overall, but the Jr. Ducks finished the weekend looking every bit like division champions.

SD Jr Gulls put together one of the most dominant runs of the entire tournament in the U10A Reagan division, storming through the field unbeaten and closing things out with a commanding 6-0 championship win over Atlanta Ice Bandits. The Jr Gulls were in complete control from the drop of the puck, building a 3-0 lead in the first period and doubling it in the second. N. Gansevich struck twice early and helped set the tone, while C. Dunn added a pair of goals in the second to keep Atlanta from building any momentum. J. Belfer and M. Zoltai also found the back of the net in a balanced offensive performance. The Jr Gulls outshot Atlanta 42-15 and rotated goalies Carter McKay and Jason Qin in a shutout effort that showed just how deep and composed this group was. Atlanta had a strong tournament and entered the final with only one loss, but SD Jr Gulls were simply on another level. Finishing 5-0 with a plus-30 goal differential and only four goals allowed, they left no doubt about who ruled Reagan.

AHU Knights Silver rose to the top of the U10 Elite field, finishing the tournament with a championship win over the Dallas Penguins by a 4-2 score. It was a high-energy final between two teams that traded chances throughout, but the Knights made their biggest plays first and made Dallas chase the game the rest of the way. Asher Eagles opened the scoring in the first, and Andrew Harriman delivered the biggest stretch of the game with back-to-back second-period goals, including the game-winner. King Briggs added an insurance goal in the third as AHU built a 4-0 lead before Dallas finally broke through late. The Penguins made a push behind goals from Hudson Halback and Flynn Thomas, but Cooper Graf held strong in net for AHU and finished with the win. Ethan Tevis picked up two assists in the title game, helping fuel a Knights team that finished first in the standings and backed it up when it mattered most. The U12A Ford championship delivered offense, swings in momentum, and one huge response from Atlanta Ice Bandits, who finished off a perfect tournament run with a 6-4 win over Alaska Blue Devils. Atlanta entered the final undefeated and had to earn every bit of this one against a Blue Devils squad that kept punching back. After the teams traded first-period goals, the second period exploded. Grady Welbourn took over with a stunning short-handed burst, scoring three times in a span of just 38 seconds to flip the game in Atlanta’s favor. Alaska answered with goals from Cohen Hall and James Johnson to stay right there, but the Bandits found one more push in the third. Nicolas Fontaine scored the power-play game-winner, and Welbourn added another late tally to finish with four goals in the title game. Atlanta edged Alaska 29-26 in shots and got a full-game win from Micah Duvall in net. The Blue Devils made it a battle all the way through, but Atlanta Ice Bandits finished the weekend 5-0 and closed out Ford with a championship performance full of firepower.

JR Coyotes 10U made a serious statement in the U12A Obama division, knocking off previously unbeaten California Bears 4-1 in the championship game. California entered the final at 4-0 and had looked like the team to beat, but the Coyotes came out flying and grabbed control early. Luke Esner opened the scoring in the first period, and Nikolai Losack followed with another to help JR Coyotes build momentum. In the second, the Coyotes stayed aggressive as Esner scored again and Owen Richardson added another goal to stretch the lead to 4-0. California finally broke through in the third on a goal from Benoit Frazier, but the comeback never got rolling. JR Coyotes played with pace, created separation early, and never let the Bears fully recover. Rhett Schoenfeld registered two assists, while Esner finished with two goals and an assist in a standout performance. It was a huge championship effort from a Coyotes team that entered as the No. 2 seed and finished the job in style.

Tri-Valley Blue Devils saved their biggest punch for the third period and captured the U12 Elite Adams title with a 3-0 championship win over Empire Hockey Club. On paper, it looked like a defensive battle, but Empire actually carried much of the shot volume and pressured all game long. That only made Tri-Valley’s finish even more impressive. Matthew Hua stood tall in net and turned aside wave after wave of Empire chances, helping keep the game scoreless deep into the third. Then the Blue Devils broke through on a power-play goal from M. Chen, with L. Edwards and R. Rassai drawing assists. Just over a minute later, Edwards added another off a feed from Chen, and A. Liang sealed it with an empty-netter in the final minute. Despite being outshot 30-19, Tri-Valley stayed patient, made its chances count, and defended its way to the championship. That mix of composure and clutch finishing helped the Blue Devils cap a strong weekend with the Adams crown.

Whaley found the net off assists from K. Grigson and R. Johanson, and they carried that lead into the second. But CA Wave turned the game on special teams. Back-to-back power-play goals from C. Bradvica and T. Taing swung the momentum in the second period and gave Wave the lead. Jr Coyotes responded in the third with a tying goal from J. Young, but Taing answered again with the game-winner before adding one more insurance goal late. CA Wave controlled the overall pace with a 30-19 shot advantage and got a complete 45-minute win from Corey Nielson in net. Jr Coyotes battled hard and kept the pressure on, but CA Wave’s timely scoring and power-play execution made the difference in a championship effort that closed out a strong division run.

MT Wolves flipped the script in the U14A championship and delivered one of the more impressive finals of the tournament, taking down top-seeded Vacaville Jets 5-1. Vacaville entered as the No. 1 team in the standings and actually finished with a 22-13 edge in shots, but the Wolves were lethal with their opportunities and made every key moment count. Keaton Pace gave MT the early lead in the first, and Bentley Blando scored what proved to be the game-winner in the second. After Vacaville answered with a power-play goal from Alix Jakubos, the Wolves hit right back with a power-play finish from Crew MacDonald to keep momentum on their side. The third period sealed it. MT added two short-handed goals, including one into the empty net, to blow the game open and leave no doubt. Kaiden Mountan was outstanding in goal, stopping 21 shots in the win. Hawk Emmerton tied the game early in the third, and Robert Logan Stevens struck again just 1:29 later for the game-winner. Stevens finished with two goals, while Rylan Skarphol picked up assists on both of them. Despite being outshot 30-21, the Sun Devils made the most of their chances and got a full-game championship performance from Paul Bishop in net. AHU Knights Silver backed up an unbeaten tournament run with a 3-1 win over SDIA Oilers in the U14AA Washington championship. The Knights were steady from the opening moments and struck first just 1:18 into the game when Jake Flinn scored on the power play. That fast start gave AHU control, and they built on it in the second with another power-play goal from Beckett Detillieux, who later factored into the game-winner, plus an unassisted finish from Andrew Johnson. SDIA Oilers generated plenty of pressure and actually outshot AHU 35-25, including a massive 24-shot second period, but Brodee Stearnes stood tall in net and turned aside the surge. The Oilers finally got on the board in the third when Franklin Russo scored, but the Knights never let the game slip. Calgary Knights looked every bit like a powerhouse in the U16/17A division, finishing a perfect tournament run with a 5-0 shutout over Springbank Rockies in the championship game. The opening period stayed scoreless, but Calgary controlled the pace and slowly started to tilt the ice. That pressure finally paid off in the second when David Morrison broke through with the game-winner, and Hudson Anderson added another shortly after to make it 2-0. From there, the Knights slammed the door. Tate Schlivert scored on the power play in the third, James Tait added another, and Gallagher Varley capped the scoring late. Calgary outshot Springbank 26-9 and gave up almost nothing in the final period, where the Rockies failed to record a shot on goal. Killian Sissons was sharp in net for the shutout, while Calgary’s top scorers continued to spread the offense around. The game also featured plenty of edge and penalties, especially late, but the Knights never lost control. They finished first in the standings, allowed only three goals all tournament, and rolled through the final to claim the crown.

CA Bears completed a perfect 6-0 tournament in U16AA Bush with a 3-1 championship win over Jr Ducks, finishing off one of the strongest runs in the event. The Bears wasted little time setting the tone in the title game, jumping ahead with first-period goals from Derek Chacon and Brandon Schumacher. That second goal stood up as the game-winner, putting Jr Ducks in catch-up mode for the rest of the contest. The Ducks pulled within one in the second on a power-play goal from Roger Kapner, but CA Bears answered later in the period with a power-play finish of their own from Jacob Moore to restore the two-goal cushion. The third period stayed scoreless as Weston Brough and the Bears defense shut the door the rest of the way. Jr Ducks actually finished with a slight 19-18 edge in shots, but CA Bears were more clinical early and more composed late. After entering as the top seed, the Bears delivered in the championship and proved themselves the class of the Bush division.

Asher Ianiero opened the scoring, Barrett Smith added the game-winner in the second, and then Jr Condors broke it wide open in the third with three more goals. Austen Jahn and Peter Kalina each found the net, and Ianiero scored again short-handed in the final minute to cap a huge championship performance. Bishop Gorman got on the board midway through the third through William Hamner, but by then the Condors had already built too much separation. Jr Condors outshot Bishop Gorman 30-23 and got a complete game from Tyler Racette between the pipes. The U18AA Kennedy championship featured a wild swing, as Jr Sun Devils burst out early before NWCAA Stamps stormed back for a 7-3 win to claim the title. The Sun Devils looked like they might run away with it in the first period, scoring three times in just over four minutes. Roberto Gamez scored short-handed and later added another even-strength goal, while Jaikarran Ganesh also scored on the power play as Jr Sun Devils built a 3-1 lead. But from that point on, the Stamps took over. NWCAA answered with four goals in the second period, including two from Easton Miller and the eventual game-winner from Brycen Warwick. Ryan Wolfson added a power-play goal during that surge, and the Stamps carried all the momentum into the third. Liam Anton and Kael Miller tacked on two more to finish the comeback. NWCAA edged Jr Sun Devils 37-36 in shots and showed impressive composure after the rough opening stretch. It was a championship comeback built on relentless pressure and a huge second period that completely changed the game.

Wainwright Polar Kings capped off a strong run through U18AA Nixon with a 4-1 championship victory over San Diego Saints. The Polar Kings entered the final as the top seed and played like it, scoring first and controlling the middle portion of the game. Ryley Rentz opened the scoring in the first period, then Wainwright took over in the second. Cole Cusack scored the game-winner, and Hadi Khaddage followed with back-to-back goals to stretch the lead to 4-0. That burst created enough breathing room for the Kings to manage the rest of the way, even as the Saints made a third-period push. San Diego finally broke through on a power-play goal from Logan Sowinski, but Luke Larson and the Wainwright defense kept the door mostly shut from there. The Polar Kings held a narrow 25-23 edge in shots and finished the weekend with a 5-1 record, using balanced scoring and steady defense to close out the Nixon bracket on top.
