In a highly anticipated 5A quarterfinal rematch, Sunrise Mountain and Desert Edge met once again in a tight, physical battle that echoed last season’s postseason meeting.

Sunrise Mountain struck in the first half with the lone goal of the match, then locked in defensively to protect the lead. Desert Edge pushed after the break and applied steady pressure, but the Mustangs’ defensive shape held firm.
