Verrado Dominates Desert Edge 

Verrado Vipers put on a commanding performance, defeating Desert Edge 14-1 at Goodyear Ballpark. The win was as special for its location as for the Vipers' impressive play.

Verrado came out strong, scoring 7 runs in the first inning and adding another 1 in the second and 2 in the third. The Vipers’ offense was led by senior Eli Bebleh, who went 3-for-3 with 2 runs and 1 RBI. Senior Braxton Bjur was also stellar, finishing 3-for-3 with 2 runs and 3 RBIs. Aaron Gutierrez added 3 hits and 3 RBIs as well.

On the mound, senior Colton Zacher pitched 5 innings, allowing just 3 hits and 1 run while striking out 11. Zacher’s dominant performance kept Desert Edge at bay, while the defense remained perfect with flawless fielding by Nolan Raissle, Braden Marchese, Pablo Rivera, and Lucas Spitzock.

The game, played at the professional-level Goodyear Ballpark, added extra significance to the win. Verrado’s solid all-around performance solidified their momentum as they look to build on this victory in the upcoming games.
