Verrado Scores Big in a 11–1 Win Over North Canyon!
Wow! The Verrado Vipers were on fire Tuesday night as they beat North Canyon 11–1 at home! After North Canyon scored in the first inning, Verrado said “Not today!” and started scoring like crazy!
The Vipers scored 6 runs in the third inning, and the crowd went wild! They kept adding more, with 3 more runs in the fifth to end the game early. It was a total team effort, and the bats were HOT!
Colton Zacher had an awesome game—he got 3 hits, got on base every time, and even smashed a home run! He helped bring in 5 runs all by himself!
Aaron Gutierrez was super clutch too. He got 2 hits and was on base every time he came up. He even hit a double and helped score 2 runs!
Bode Acton also had a big day with 2 hits, including a triple!
On the mound, Braden Marchese was a beast! He pitched the whole game, only gave up 2 hits, and didn’t let North Canyon score after the first inning. He struck out 5 batters and made it look easy.
Verrado’s defense was locked in. They didn’t make many mistakes and kept North Canyon from coming back.
This was a huge win for the Vipers, and they looked like a team ready to make some noise this season!
