Youngker Shuts Out Agua Fria in 46-0 Victory

Youngker delivered a dominant performance Friday night, shutting out Agua Fria 46-0 in a boys varsity football matchup at Youngker High School.

The Roughriders took control in the opening quarter. No. 7 scored on a rushing touchdown to put Youngker on the board, while No. 23 added a fumble recovery for the defense.

Youngker continued building its advantage when a touchdown pass to No. 3 helped push the lead to 12-0.

Youngker added another touchdown in the second quarter. No. 3 found the end zone on a punt return, extending the Roughriders' advantage to 18-0.

Youngker's defense continued to keep Agua Fria off the scoreboard, sending the game into halftime with an 18-0 lead.

The Roughriders broke the game open after halftime with a 28-point third quarter.

No. 4 connected with No. 3 for a 60-yard touchdown pass, and No. 1 followed with a successful two-point conversion to make it 26-0.

Youngker struck through the air again, with No. 3 recording a 45-yard receiving touchdown to extend the advantage to 32-0.

The Roughriders continued adding to their lead with another passing touchdown and a successful two-point rushing conversion, pushing the score to 40-0.

Youngker completed the scoring with another rushing touchdown, bringing the final margin to 46-0.

The Roughriders' defense held Agua Fria scoreless throughout the game, while the offense produced touchdowns through the rushing game, passing game and special teams.

With the victory, Youngker moved to 1-1 on the season, while Agua Fria fell to 0-2.
